Beauty and Lifestyle Expert Paul Wharton

Paul Wharton is a man who wears many hats, and he wears them all very well as one of the industry’s top beauty and lifestyle experts. Recognized last year for his appearance on Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of D.C., shy away from the opportunity to help people, particularly women, look their best.

“I love to share what I know. It’s me standing in my lane but giving you everything I know,” says Wharton, who’s been fashion forward since he was just 13. “My style is simple, chic, St. Bart’s St. Tropez inspired. I’m back to the basics. It doesn’t necessarily mean as much to me to be covered head to toe in the [brand] labels that I once did in my 20s; now that I’m in my 30s, I see things a little bit differently. I’m more into the fit and the quality of what I wear over [as opposed to] what label it has.

The style guru recently was appointed Ambassador Against Hunger by D.C.’s Capital Area Food Bank, which works with more than 700 partner agencies—and nearly 500,000 individuals—to address the issue of hunger. Women transitioning from substance or sexual abuse who are looking to re-enter the workforce are among those assisted by the food bank’s partner agencies.
